Angelina Jolie had a double mastectomy, in case you hadn’t heard. How dare she remove those ticking time bombs from her chest, amiright? Like, hasn’t she learned by now that her body is public domain and we all get to vote on what she does with it? Sheesh, how selfish can ya get.

It’s amazing how a percentage and some hyperbole can bring everything into perspective.

This week at uni, I learned about public goods and the freeloader problem.
Now I understand on a whole new level why creating art for a living would have ruined me.

Bioshock Infinite

They announced it two and a half years ago.
One hour to release.

These games are heart-wrenchingly beautiful. Gorgeously and intricately designed environments that have that uncomfortable candid tone placed so delicately to creep the bejesus out of you. Like the art-deco walls are giving you a creepy smile. And the music is so, so sorrowful. You feel in your bones the tragedy of ideology’s death.

But the best thing about them is their grand thematic stories. I never knew how fractured the capitalist system is until I walked through the ruins of a free-market utopia. These games are compelling in ways no other game has touched. I’m beyond thrilled to be experiencing a brand new one.

I’ve been waiting two and a half years.
One hour to go.

the really shitty thing about being told that youre smart your whole entire life is that as soon as you dont understand something you just kind of completely shut down and his this big shitty crisis because maybe youre not as smart as youve always been told

It just dawned on me that I have to read 3 whole textbooks in 12 weeks. Holy hell. Now I’m scared.

I always type my passwords in to the rhythm of whatever song is in my head.

I’m concerned this may one day be used against me.
